It's clearly seen that this piece's originality can be identified. How often do you see something like this? Not many people get the idea that a partially cocked valve would exhibit attitude, but it actually does look that way being that it is bent over partway. The title may be considered cliché for some, but it describes the point nicely. That's what makes the originality good here..
The picture quality itself is excellent, you can see it in clear detail. The colors, the bent valve in the middle, and the background trees are well seen. Also the fence makes it look interesting too.
Now, the technique makes it technique is what makes it purely pristine. This should stay a photograph, just as it is. However, I'm not ruling out the possibility of another interpretation of it, just so long as the original picture stays intact here.
The impact is of an unusual nature. I mean, how often do you see someone using a bent valve to portray attitude and feel? That's what makes it truly original. The idea can be a good impacting one. Also, the involvement of nature in this brings on a whole new feel to it. Usually, when you see something using an attitude like this, it's glamorous or flashy or something of that nature most of the time. This is one of those pieces saying "I am what I am. You talkin' to me? Don't criticize me!" Nature is nature. Don't mess with her.
