Tea Art Challenge

Tea-for-JBASS challenged herself this year to not only doodle everyday, but each doodle needed to incorporate tea into every single one of them.  Tea refers to these pieces as “teadles" and judging by her gallery of submissions, we really think she’s on to something. Development Hell

Rumor has it there are four sequel scripts for Avatar in existence but the word from James Horner, soundtrack composer for the series, James Cameron is trying to condense the material into just three films. We’re wondering if he’s taking a leaf out of Warner Brothers play book for their DC Comics franchises which seems to be hire four or five writers to all come up with different takes on each film and then pick or mash-up the ones you like the most. I’m sure James Cameron has a better sense of direction for his property than Warner Brothers do, but it is worrying trend.

A Dark Look Back On The Alien’s Dad

There’s a documentary out in selected theaters about the surrealist painter/designer Hans Rudolf Giger, the man behind the monsters of Alien, Species, and Poltergeist, called Dark Star: H.R. Giger's World. Really looks worth tracking down if you’re a fan of the man and his work.
